“I’m still not satisfied, so I’ll sit on it for a while. The idea is still very much the same: it’s a woman’s story of leaving and becoming; of leaving a faith and a marriage to find faith in myself. It’s what happens when a woman discovers the “No” at the beginning of “Yes” and chooses to put herself first—because if she doesn’t, who will?”

Wow andi!! What absolutely beautiful words, i can hear you as if were speaking these words to me .

Thank you for reading, Karen. Your posts kept me company in various locations! Next I need to write a travel article--not on where I've been, but how to survive delays, cancellations, security precautions, changing rules (even within same airport from one checkpoint to another!), etc. It's been a wild year of learning to navigate the not so friendly skies while meeting amazing people in airports and on planes, trains, and Ubers.

I loved this, and I love your daughter for giving you Ocean Vuong. Were you entirely transported? He's an important and tender voice. I love him wholeheartedly, from Night Sky with Exit Wounds to this moment.
